An IUFP is a preparatory program designed for international students who want to pursue undergraduate studies at a specific university in the UK, Netherlands and Australia but don't quite meet the entry requirements for direct admission. It bridges the gap between your SSC-HSC and university-level studies. This program will train the students the necessary skills and competencies

• This will reduce the time spending to enroll for degree. Just after completing SSC you can register and join the university degree just after one year
• Sri Lankan price of the IIT IUFP is BT 260,000. You can do the same program at BT 175,000 with monthly installments in Dhaka

• Computing Pathway: SSC minimum GPA 2.0 pass six subjects with three C passes for Mathematics, English and any other STEM subject
• Business Pathway: SSC minimum GPA 2.0 and pass at least six subjects with C passes for English, at least simple pass for Mathematics
• If there is no C pass for English, they need to have Minimum scores of 4.5 or above on an English language test (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL)

If you fulfill the entry requirements, there is no entrance exam for you. However, at orientation, there will be an English language test to assess your Academic English skills. If you score more than 50%, you will be exempt from the English language module and will not need to take the credits. If you score less than 50%, you will then need to take the English language module to earn the credits.

The program includes a combination of:
• Academic modules relevant to your chosen undergraduate degree (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI and Data Science, Business Information Systems etc)
• Academic English modules to develop your academic writing, research, and presentation skills.
• Study skills workshops to hone your time management, critical thinking, and research techniques.
