• Education is an attempt to make the learners aware of their treasured past experiences, traditions, values and skills. In this sense, education is a kind of instruction. A child living in a particular community must be brought up to the norm and standard of that community. The attempt made to this effect, consciously or deliberately by the state, society, family, school or any other institution is education. It manifests the synonymousness of life and education. Whatever new experiences man gathers at every moment throughout his life is education.

  We realize there is no alternative to be a science oriented generation to survive in the competitive age of the twenty first century. Cambrian initiated a countrywide Digital Campaign in association with The Daily Jugantor in 2009 with a view to building a science-oriented nation and IT equipped educational institutions. Mr. Nurul Islam Nahid, Minister for Education, inaugurated the campaign. This countrywide Digital Campaign was first launched from Khulna through a mobile computer lab. Ministry of Education initiated Digital Bangladesh building activities in June 2010 through the six mobile computer labs.

  BSB Foundation and Cambrian school & College have taken up ‘Vision 2021′ as a social movement in the spread of education. We will celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of our independence in 2021. The objective of celebrating this occasion is to obtain an illiteracy free Bangladesh. The present government too has taken up a programme called ‘Vision-2021′ in the spread of education that is identical to ours.

  Educational entrepreneurs, educational institutions and teachers can play a significant role to make a digital and illiteracy free Bangladesh by 2021 as declared by the government. It is Possible to involve all these components in the process to a greater degree by giving them proper respect and value on the World Teachers’ Day. That is why we have been offering BSB Foundation Award since 2006. The principal objective of this award is to show respect to the educational entrepreneurs, educational institutions and the teachers.

  Our objective is to make our students self-reliant by nurturing their latent talent and potential. Cambrian Secondary School began its journey in January 2008 with 139 students and currently the number is 1800. Cambrian Pre and primary School started operating in January 2010 with 474 students and the first batch that appeared at the Primary Completion Examination came out successful with almost all first division and no fail. All the 289 Junior School Completion Examinees and 280 Secondary School Certificate examinees passed in 2010 with a great majority of them securing GPA-5.

  As you may have been aware, Cambrian School & College has already secured its place in the educational arena. It ensured a hundred percent pass rate in the year 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010 consecutively while having stood 2nd in 2008, 3rd in 2009 and 11th in 2010 in order of merit. We are committed to maintaining this success rate in the years to come, at all levels, from Primary to College.

  We firmly believe, it would never have been possible but for the co-operation of all. We look forward to this continued support and co-operation from all concerned.

• Let me convey my heartfelt greetings to the learners, guardians, and all people out there interested in education. In Bangladesh the quality of education is not going hand in hand with the increasing number of educational institutions. The number of quality institutions at school & college level has been continually on the decrease. In the context of ever-changing reality and an age of information technology, book learning alone will not help a learner become complete and secured as education now has entered into the global arena beyond the narrowness of state-nation concept. Therefore, world class education is a must in this globalized world. World class education alone can shape up world class citizens. Cambrian School & College was established in 2004 with a view to translating this proposition into reality.

  
  
  

  Cambrian school & College are committed to providing world class education in Bangladesh. We will fulfill this commitment gradually at all levels, from pre-primary to higher education, by the grace of the Almighty.

  If we are able to build a framework where no child is left out, as a nation, we will be able to face the future challenges easily. Cambrian has introduced its school section in order to expand this quality education framework. A goal titled ‘Vision-2021′ has been set alongside all these other formal approaches with an objective to make Bangladesh an illiteracy free country before the completion of 50 years of independence in 2021. Cambrian is leading a social initiative undertaken to educate at least one illiterate individual by a person interested in education one on one basis. If all people interested in education can be organized through this process, we will be able to build our country in the spirit of our great war of liberation. Resolution alone will not work; we all have to work towards its fulfillment.
